Understanding Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a manual approach that takes care of the whole body to promote fluidity, comfort and harmony of movements. She accompanies everyone, children, adults, athletes or seniors, to move with confidence, optimize the body's abilities and take full advantage of their daily activities.

The role of therapists

Manual techniques at the service of your balance

Our osteopaths place their hands at the heart of diagnosis and care. By carefully listening to the body, they identify areas of tension and restore tissue mobility. Their approach is both scientific and sensitive, combining precision of the gesture, understanding of anatomical structures and respect for the patient's feelings.

1
Observe and listen before acting
Each session starts with an exchange and a global observation of the body. The therapist seeks to understand your problem, taking into account your lifestyle, your history and your sensations. This first phase guides the entire treatment.
2
Restoring movement and fluidity
Thanks to precise and adapted manipulations, the osteopath improves mobility within joints, muscles, viscera or nerve tissue. These gentle gestures allow the body to regain its balance and its natural ability to self-regulate.
3
Collaborating for global care
At Physport, teamwork is essential. Our osteopaths work closely with physiotherapists and doctors to ensure consistent, safe and tailor-made follow-up for each patient.
4
Preventing as well as treating
Beyond occasional support, osteopathy supports the body preventively: it helps to maintain comfort, mobility and fluidity in movements, so that everyone can continue to move with confidence and take full advantage of their daily activities.

The goals

The goals of osteopathy

Our objectives are to reassure each person by helping them to better understand their body, to support them in the movement and the strengthening of their capacities, and to restore their confidence to gradually regain autonomy and freedom in their activities.

Relieve pain
By relieving tensions and restoring tissue mobility, osteopathy allows a rapid and lasting reduction of muscular, joint or visceral pain.
Restoring the body's mobility and balance
Each manipulation aims to restore the circulation of fluids and the harmony of movements, so that the body regains all its freedom and efficiency.
Preventing disorders and strengthening well-being
Osteopathy also acts as a preventive measure: it helps maintain overall balance, improves posture and limits the reappearance of pain or tension.
